"We are racing toward our own destination with each moment--like we're on a highway. We could rejoice--look forward to the opportunity to possibly become enlightened or reborn in Dewachen, so we are able to benefit all sentient beings." --Khenpo Rinpoche
This course will be comprised of three 2-hour workshops on consecutive Saturdays 3:00-5:00 p.m. beginning November 4. We will explore and begin to create our own unique 'tool kits' in preparation for the best possible journey.
We will use a variety of contemplations and meditations about impermanence and dying; some suggested practices to help prepare for the experience; templates for our spiritual wills and other advance directives;and samples of possible ceremonies before, during, and after the dying process.
We will be opening up discussions/conversations about death and dying; and building supportive resources for ourselves, our KCC community, our families and friends. As these sessions build upon each other, we encourage participants to attend all of the classes, if possible, either in person or via live-stream.
